Four candidates will be elected to serve three two-year terms and one four-year term. The nine candidates, who do not run on a party label, are: two year terms: Shawn Bruckman, Sarah Parrish, Judson Haims, Jamie Woodworth Foral, Weston Arbogast, Nick Sunday, and Janet Bartnik; four-year term: Geoff Grimmer and Weston Gleiss.
Chamber president, Grant Murphy, Alpine Bank, said, ‘the chamber hosts this bi-annual event to educate residents on town issues that have inspired nine individuals to voluntarily step forward to serve their community; I look to see many people at town hall.”
Kevin Brubeck, an Edwards Jones financial advisor and former member of Eagle’s Board of Trustees, will moderate the forum. The forum’s format will enable each candidate to present his/her position on issues of importance to them without entering into a debate with the other candidates.
Bonfire Brewing will host a mix n’ mingle for candidates and attendees following the forum at their pub on 2nd Street; Bonfire will provide a free pint of brew for those who attend.
