Colorado GOP Votes to Retain the Primary Process

On Saturday, the Colorado GOP voted in favor of keeping the primary process in the state of Colorado over an alternative option that would have taken us to a caucus format. The caucus format requires in-person voting and effectively limits the number of Republicans that are able to participate.

“Thank God,” said Kaye Ferry, Chair of the Eagle County Republicans. “It means that we have not disenfranchised a million voters, we haven’t disenfranchised all the military, all the people that can’t make it to caucus. In my opinion it was the height of insanity to think this was the way to go.”
