Cowgate: Polis apparently can't tell the difference between a Bavarian cow and a Colorado cow

This is the latest example where Polis has proven he is out of touch with rural Colorado

Greenwood Village, Colorado. - Yesterday was U.S. Cow Appreciation Day. How did Governor Polis choose to celebrate this day? Apparently, he thought it was best to tweet a stock photo of a "funny cow" from the European Alps.

Yes, the governor of Colorado, a state in which the number one agricultural commodity is cattle, couldn't tell the difference between a fancy European cow with bells and a beef cow from Colorado. What's more concerning is that his team didn't even have any photos of cows or ranches from Colorado they could use. Instead, they chose to pay for a stock European photo.

Cowgate has once again brought to the forefront Polis' lack of effort when it comes to representing rural Colorado. Whether it is Polis' lack of knowledge about Colorado's ranches, his attack on Colorado ranchers and farmers with what became known as Meat Out Day, his disregard for local rural Colorado leaders, a disturbing pattern of refusing to show up or discuss rural issues, or his failure to disavow the pathetic and offensive comments made about rural Coloradans by his husband, it's clear that Polis doesn't care about rural Coloradans or their livelihoods.
