CC GOES DOWN!! WHAT A NIGHT!!

For those of you who thought we’d become California, think again.

The resounding defeat of Prop CC shows that Colorado still maintains a very conservative streak, clearly exhibited when voters get to call the shot.

Oh for sure, the current Democrat controlled state legislature tried to take us to the edge of the cliff. And if they had been able to make the final decision, we’d have plunged into a dangerous and probably irreversible oblivion.

But in their arrogance, fueled by the rough shod way they have ruled the state government since the 2018 election, they asked us, and they thought they could dupe a disengaged electorate.

Well not so fast. And let that be a lesson for future over-confidence also. We may not have a direct vote during those very dangerous days when the state legislature is in session, but make no mistake, we’re watching and we know that the over-reach is wrong. It’s not only wrong. It’s dangerous for the State of Colorado.

So let that be a lesson to all of you out there that have claimed all is lost and there’s no use fighting a losing battle. We are not lost. We can win the battle. We proved that tonight.

We have the ability, the right, and most importantly, the responsibility to work hard towards winning the battle against socialism in 2020.

This is the beginning of the 2020 elections. What a way to start! Now let’s keep it up.
